Franklin flyer

FRANKLIN — Superintendent Lucas Giguere, Principal Dr. Maria Weber, and Director of Visual and Performing Arts Diane Plouffe wish to invite the community to attend Franklin High School’s two winter concerts this December.

WHEN:

Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m.

WHERE:

Franklin High School Auditorium, 218 Oak St., Franklin, MA 02038

WHAT:

The Franklin High School Music Department invites the community to attend its two winter concerts this holiday season.

On Dec. 10, the Chorus and Orchestra will perform a multicultural winter program including songs such as “All I Want For Christmas is You,” “BaShana HaBa'a,” “Jambo Rafiki,” “Mother Ginger” from “The Nutcracker,” and “Chanukah Festival Overture.” Chorus and Orchestra Director Plouffe will lead student musicians through the performance.

On Dec. 11, the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will perform a traditional band program led by Band Director Leighanne Rudsit.

“We hope to see many community members at the upcoming concerts,” Principal Weber said. “The students have been hard at work preparing for these shows, and I am excited to see their preparation pay off in a celebration of the winter holidays.”
