Student Registration is currently open for the 2024-2025 School year only. Any registrations for other than the current school year will be returned to you.

Kindergarten (and Charter School) Registration for the 2025-26 School Year will begin on February 1, 2025 (K children must turn 5 by August 31, 2025) Do not submit a student registration for next year until it opens.

Franklin Public Schools  uses Aspen for online New Student Registration.  Please use a desktop, laptop computer, tablet or a phone to start the registration process.  We are hopeful the Aspen online registration will make our registration process more efficient, convenient, and user-friendly. 

Please fill out our Change of Address Form if you currently have a student in the Franklin Public School and you are moving within Franklin.  If you are moving outside Franklin, please contact your school secretary.

In order to register for Franklin Public Schools, you must live in Franklin.  Please do not begin your child's online registration until the first day of your lease, or if you have purchased a home, after you’ve closed on your new home and have your closing disclosure in hand.   Please answer all questions & upload all documents or the registration will be returned to you to complete.

Please remember to register with the Town Clerk's Office as a resident of Franklin.

If you are interested in enrolling at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC)​, ​please​ contact Julie Felton​, school secretary,​ at feltonj@franklinps.net or 508-541-8166 to learn about ​availability and enrollment procedures. Once your child has been accepted and enrolled at ECDC, we will guide you through the Registration Process. 

Please note:   If your student is a current 5th or 8th grader attending school in Franklin, their records will be automatically transferred to the appropriate Franklin middle or Franklin High School and no action is required.
