The Franklin Public Schools is proud to offer the young children of Franklin an opportunity for high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning in a preschool environment that encourages diversity, cooperation, and kindergarten readiness. It is our goal to create opportunities for social connections and cooperative learning. We are an inclusive, integrated preschool. Children with and without identified special needs are taught together in an environment that nurtures a partnership in learning. Research has proven this enhances the growth and development of all our children. Our classrooms maintain a small class size, maxing out at 15 with a Massachusetts-certified teacher and at least one qualified educational support professional.

We are committed to educating the social, emotional, and physical needs of our students, as well as developing the skills they will need as they move towards kindergarten. We will consistently strive to provide all children with a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where all youngsters and their families feel valued for their unique and special qualities.
